Corporate Social Responsibility at Cikarang Jababeka

This activity has been an annual agenda for PT Jababeka Infrastruktur since 2018, reflecting its commitment to environmental care in the surrounding area through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. In the programs early stages—specifically 2018 and 2019. we carried out a mangrove planting initiative in Muara Gembong, North Bekasi. Following the pandemic, we resumed the program in 2021 with the Vetiver System Project, implemented over two consecutive years along the riverbanks of the Jababeka Industrial Estate. In 2023, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur renewed its vision of establishing a Green Belt a measure still vital for the residents of Muara Gembong District to protect their aquaculture ponds from erosion, abrasion, and strong winds that could damage supporting facilities. The Green Belt serves as a biofilter, reducing levels of toxins, heavy metals, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and pathogens. In 2026, PT SIF participated in this initiative on July 23, 2026, a total of 35,000 mangrove seedlings were planted through the collaborative efforts of Jababeka and 27 tenants within the Jababeka estate. To date, this initiative has resulted in the planting of over 100,000 mangrove seedlings in the Muara Gembong area of Bekasi, West Java.
